Our integration of Christian beliefs into the curriculum and the inclusion of daily devotions and weekly chapel keep us focused on God, family and ministry through school. My children and I love the family atmosphere and enjoy the educational and sports opportunities.
I really appreciated LCS because I was able to participate in so many different activities that would not have been available to me at a public school.
The reason our children go to LCS is because we have not found any other school in Longview that meets our family's needs as well as LCS has. We have found that it meets not only our academic needs, but our spiritual needs as well. Our children are well rounded because they attend a school that supports the values our family holds dear.
Our family has seen three daughters attend LCS from kindergarten to high school graduation, and go on to perform exceptionally in grad school and at university. Throughout the years, what we have really appreciated is the family atmosphere that accompanies LCS. We have always known that when we encounter hard times, there is a family ready to support us.
Watching my children begin their adult life, I see the fruit of their education at Longview Christian School.
Great people...great students...great school! I was very pleased with the quality of Christian education offered at LCS.
I started out as a voluntary librarian at the school many years ago when the accreditation process was gearing up. With the help of a few other LCS parents, our humble library grew from a closet full of books to what it is now: a building with more than 12,000 cataloged items. Over the years I have worked with many wonderful students, and have learned much from them. I also have had four children attend LCS, two from Kindergarten to 12th grad, and two from Kindergarten to their current grades, and we have all had wonderful experiences every year.
