Experience
Spend a little time in the high school hall and feel the LCS spirit in action. Witness students confidently embracing high school and experiencing the Word of God woven into all areas. The coursework appeals to students with a variety of interests and academic goals. Whether through athletics, fine arts, or student leadership opportunities, our students are well-rounded. These activities teach time management, work-life balance, leadership, and teamwork.
Dynamic Academics
We offer three distinct options in choosing a degree plan that is designed to meet our students’ capabilities and aspirations - general studies, college preparatory, and distinguished achievement. Our partnership with LeTourneau University enables ease in enrollment in dual credit courses, allowing students to earn college credit during the high school years.
Community Service
High school students are required to accomplish a number of community service hours annually. Throughout the year, students complete their hours through service days and local mission trips under the direction of the LCS campus pastor.
Athletics & Fine Arts
A diverse co-curricular program is vital to the development of students. Our athletic teams compete in TAPPS against other private schools in East Texas and beyond. LCS currently competes in cross country, soccer, volleyball, swim, basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, and track. We offer a number of fine arts and electives and including: theater, band, choir, photography, shop, and culinary arts. Our theater/band shows are highly anticipated each year!
Trips
Beginning with the high school retreat each August and ending with the senior class trip, our students have a variety of travel opportunities that are designed to enhance learning, and strengthen their relationship with God. The annual two-day Biblical Worldview Conference in Plano is a highlight of the year for our juniors and seniors.
