One of our core values at LCS is Humble Service. We encourage students to follow Christ's example of leadership through servanthood. We challenge our students to live lives dedicated to reaching beyond themselves to those in need around them.
Elementary and Junior High - Teachers and administration collaborate to provide age-appropriate opportunities for students to serve. Some classes minister to the elderly by visiting nursing homes to sing songs and play games and even writing letters to pen pals in local nursing homes. We often participate in the efforts of local ministries to raise funds or donations of goods. These items are collected at the school to benefit the needy. Some classes have created their own fundraisers to raise money for other non-profit organizations.
High School - All high school students are required to accomplish at least ten community service hours annually. Throughout the year, students complete their hours through service days and local mission trips organized by student leaders under the direction of the LCS campus pastor.
